As a Maintenance Specialist, you will provide technical support for manufacturing areas. You’ll use testing and diagnostic equipment to perform system checks and root cause analysis to repair and/or rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.

This role will entail specialized knowledge of  unique systems and equipment that requires specific training which you will receive through both informational understanding and On the Job Training. You will apply basic skills and may develop advanced skills appropriate for the position. Your duties and tasks are standardized and will work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures to accomplish tasks, maintain, and continuously improve systems to achieve quality driven objectives through daily actions.


You will apply some advanced skills to the position or specialization. You may adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Your duties are generally routine, but may include non-routine tasks. With training you will be able to resolve most questions and problems and have the ability to refer more complex issues to higher levels (i.e. managers, engineering, and Subject Matter Experts). 

The role is performed within the hours of 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Monday through Friday. There may be overtime available as needed on weekdays and weekends as the business deems necessary. 

The Opportunity:

You are performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process, and will be performing corrective maintenance.

You are dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.

You are completing preventative maintenance tasks according to detailed procedures and schedules  and maintain accurate records of all activities.

You are performing equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers, including installation, validation support and start-up, of new equipment as well as decommissioning activities of retired equipment and processes. 

You may use predictive maintenance technologies and techniques in order to improve operational efficiencies. 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

You hold a High School diploma or equivalency

You have 2+ years of related operations maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience

Preferred qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent military training

In-depth knowledge Good Document Practices policies and procedures, and knowledge of FDA regulated production equipment.

Working knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing with both high and low voltage systems including motor controls, PLCs, sensors, relays, feedback loops. 

Working knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems including pneumatics, linear actuators, rotary actuators, conveyor systems, multi-axis robotics, and pick and place systems.

Proficiency with computers and computerized maintenance management systems

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is  $50,500 and $93,900 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
