As a key member of the (Commercial Product Supply) CPS Digital Delivery Team, Manufacturing Execution System, Director, is empowered to lead and orchestrate efforts to implement and improve the MES in CPS. You will work collaboratively with cross functional business partners across the CPS network to understand business needs, identify digitization opportunities and help to deliver those opportunities with the support of Platform Services (IT) and the broader CPS Transformation, CPS Functional and CPS Operations teams. The position will oversee the MES Strategy and will be responsible for ensuring that each project connected with the MES is successfully implemented by providing a very strong Manufacturing Execution Layer within CPS IT/OT Architecture.

We seek an individual who is adept at building collaborative relationships, has a deep understanding of operations management and digital technologies, and can lead Agile project management to achieve our strategic goals.

What You'll Do for Us

Lead MES Strategy: Solution, Design, Functions, Data Models, Standardization and Implementation, delivering streamlined, digitized, and improved business processes and integration in an ISA-95 compliant architectureLead the backlog management for the MES in CPS as well as new functionalities needed to deliver new use cases such as SF to ERP Integration, Integration with Warehouse Management Solutions and automation of good movements, etc.Support CPS operational and functional leaders in their digitization initiatives by grasping their requirements, procedures and removing any obstacles to ensure solutions align with business needs, collaborating with the Platform Services (IT) and the broader CPS Transformation, CPS Functional and CPS Operations teams.Act as a liaison between application development/support and CPS Operations/Functions, translating business needs into application requirements and leading the technical implementation (TIP, Rollout, Support and Documentation), supported by the Manufacturing Transformation and Operational Excellence Team for the Roadmap, Change Management, Training and Impact EvaluationMonitor critical metrics to track successMonitor, within MES scope, technology trends, best practices, and external benchmarking to improve our processes and systems with a focus on simplification, standardization and automationDrive Strong Project Management Methodology, ensuring delivery in time of the requirements while ensuring the plant operations

Requirements & Qualifications

Master of Engineering degree or equivalent experienceSignificant experience (5 years+) with MES Design and Implementation as well as its integration with Shopfloor and ERPAutomation and Shopfloor Connectivity KnowledgeDeep understanding of ANSI/ISA-95 StandardsRelevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma, or specific MES vendor certifications is preferredPractical knowledge in operations, and process improvementProficiency with ERP Tools such as SAP S4/HanaGood verbal and written communication skills: Ability to engage and influence stakeholders, explain complex information clearly, and manage communication with external parties such as customers and vendors to foster collaboration and innovation, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives and project outcomesSkilled in managing Agile teams and implementing Agile project management methodologiesAbility to manage a portfolios of digital project initiatives, ensuring value realization by defining and tracking KPIsHigh competency in problem solving and designing innovative solutionsExpertise making recommendations for technology-driven business process improvements based on cost/benefit analysesExperience in monitoring and adopting emerging technology trends and implementing best practices to standardize and automate processesStrong decision-making abilities to choose the best technological solutions and approaches.Experience on greenfields implementations would be an advantage
