Title: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) IT Specialist

Salary: $96,000 - $125,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week
Focus: The M&E IT Systems Specialist will primarily focus on the Manufacturing & Maintenance application disciplines supporting the global M&E business and IT organizations. This role is responsible for developing and managing small projects executed within the team. Responsibilities include working with the business to identify value-added solutions, define functional requires, and lead the implementation of applications that support chemical manufacturing and maintenance processes.
MES IT Specialist Essential Job Functions: Manage project activities for small to mid-sized projects, including budgeting, procurement, task management, resource assignments, communication, and overall project rollout activities for full lifecycle. Maintain relationships with vendors, internal Olin application users, and Olin IT to ensure reliable sources of supply and information; identify requirements needed to support applications using Olin and industry standard guidelines. Identify potential solutions that provide value to the business based on requirements, and work with businesses as appropriate to define process changes. Assist with test plans and user acceptance testing prior to release and provide training and rollout support for new functionality or system; Coordinate resources from multiple IT disciplines and occasionally with third party consultants. Set customer and user expectations on feasibility; Identify and validate requirements and organize/breakdown the information using business analysis models that are understood by developers; Analyze a variety of work processes and associated documents and information flow for strategic recommendations to leadership. Manage changes to the requirements process and facilitate business unit sign-off on requirements, ensuring that changes are captured and tracked appropriately. MES IT Specialist Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree* required; Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree preferred; CBAP, PMP or other similar certifications preferred. Minimum of 5 years of related information systems experience; 7+ years of experience preferred. Prior relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Progressive experience in several areas of MES or operational technology and work processes, with a focus on application support and application architecture. Demonstrated working knowledge of M&E applications such as AspenTech Manufacturing Execution Suite, including Edge Connect, DMC3, InfoPlus.21, OPC and/or other related applications. Knowledge of the data flow starting with the ERP and moving down to the DCS/PLC and experience with implementation of MES applications to support engineers and operations with manufacturing processes, preferred. Attention to detail and demonstratable project management skills; Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
