Job Title: Manufacturing Facility Engineer
Job Description

We are expanding our operations and adding a new 250,000 square foot facility adjacent to our current operation. We are seeking a Manufacturing Facility Engineer to support the facility build and installations. Once the build is complete, this individual will be the primary facility engineer. The facility cost will be a 9 million dollar expansion, and this engineer will be responsible for leading several projects within that scope.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify the scope of work that needs to be done for various projects.Develop requirements and open projects to vendors for bidding.Manage vendor timelines and oversee project execution.Develop specifications, work with vendors to quote, build stories for approval, and manage tasks related to large-scale projects such as new buildings, building additions, site development, and equipment upgrades.Oversee the operation of utilities and drive improvements through incremental Kaizen activity or large-scale improvements.Work with internal customers to deliver projects according to scheduled timing and budget.Plan and coordinate CO₂ reduction activities according to FYE50 zero emissions goal.Oversee and make improvements to building management systems for plant lighting, HVAC control, and compressed air.Capital project management for projects up to 10 million dollars.Act as an Expert/Master Trainer in Cap Ex project management.Manage outside contractor work with advanced proficiency.Oversee new buildings for manufacturing, testing, and warehousing.Manage HVAC equipment and programming of HVAC controls.Oversee plant utilities such as electrical, gas, water, and compressed air.Lead energy management and CO₂ reduction activities.Oversee the installation and repair of docks, overhead doors, pedestrian doors, and plant aisles.Plan roadmaps for all facilities areas.Maintain a state of alertness and safe working environment while managing a fast-paced, multi-faceted work schedule.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Experience in Cap Ex project management for projects up to 10 million dollars.Experience with manufacturing-based projects (commercial or residential experience will not be considered).Experience in plant layout, HVAC, infrastructure, and equipment-based projects.8+ years of professional work experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in troubleshooting and facility engineering.Knowledge of manufacturing layout and infrastructure.Work Environment

This role involves a mix of on-the-floor and office work environments. The candidate will have the opportunity to be the lead facility engineer for the new 250,000 square foot facility and will be responsible for setting up the plant. The work schedule is fast-paced and multi-faceted, requiring the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $61.50
