Job Description

Avery Dennison is looking for a Manufacturing for Future project leader to drive strategic projects encompassing product/asset optimization, operations transformation and technical transformation across our European Avery Dennison sites. 

The role will require close collaboration with local process, quality, operations teams as well as business functions and the IT organization.

Located in one of our main locations in Europe and reporting to the Manufacturing for Future manager, part of the ELS and Digital transformation team, you will be responsible for the following:

Support the M4F Manager and the SC&Ops leadership team in coordinating strategic projects focused on business transformation as a PMO and as a project data analyst. Identify and introduce innovative project management tools and working methods.Through a continuous improvement approach, identify opportunities for efficiency improvement from an operational and technical point of view, with an emphasis on the automation and robotization of our coating and finishing assets and material flows, in close collaboration with the continuous improvement department, the community of Data Scientists and Digital Transformation Leaders.Proactively benchmark externally to identify emerging technologies that could be applied in our manufacturing sites, taking into account the evolution of our market challengesLead pilot projects to test new technologies in our manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

Let's talk about you!

You hold an engineering degree.You are fluent in English and French. Dutch, German and other languages ​​are considered a plus.You have a strong knowledge of the concepts and philosophies of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.You have proven manufacturing experience, particularly with knowledge of coating processes and operations.You are keen on data: you know how to collect and analyze data to guide your decisions.You are open to traveling to Europe depending on the location of the project.
