Manufacturing Engineering Intern.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial\nrole in optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence.\nYou will support Manufacturing Engineers in developing and implementing\nefficient manufacturing processes, driving process improvements, and ensuring\ncompliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional\nteams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products.\nYour contributions will directly impact our organization's financial\nperformance and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you will\nwork out of our Mexicali location.

In this role, you will make an impact by supporting manufacturing processes,\nprocess improvements, and compliance with safety regulations. Your\ncontributions will drive increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved\nproduct quality in our manufacturing operations and will be essential in\nsecuring present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding\nproduct cost and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Collaboration and support in:
    •   Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
    •   Drive process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and\nproduct quality
    •   Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
    •   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
    •   Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
    •   Support completion of First Article Inspections

    •   Bachelor’s degree students from an accredited institution in a technical\ndiscipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
    •  Currently studying  bachelor’s degree students in\nMechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering,\nAerospace Engineering, Cybernetics, or a related field from an accredited\ninstitution
    • Strong communication and\ninterpersonal skills  
    •   Fluent in English:\nConversational, Read and Write
    •   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    •   CAD systems proficiency

    •   Basic knowledge of automation, control, and PLC principles
    •   Programming and User Interface design preferred
