Manufacturing IT Engineer Requisition ID: 42632 Job Location(s): Nordborg, DK **Job Description** The Spool Valves Solution (VPS) within Danfoss Power Solutions Segment experiences high order intake and aspires for developing the business. Therefore, we are looking for a Manufacturing IT Engineer to join our PVG Operations department within VPS. This department consist of 13 highly dedicated and skilled Engineers who values teamwork and embrace diversity. Your contribution is important in sustaining and advancing our growth journey while developing and improve our KPIs, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. This involves implementing automation and adopting a "work smarter" approach to ensure continuous improvements. This position is ideal for you if you see yourself working with highly technical products and processes, thrive with various task, a dynamic work environment, and a developing organization in growth. **Job Responsibilities** You will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and systems. Your responsibilities will include: + Trouble shoot production IT related issues, taking the lead with involved stakeholders, internal as well as external. + Debugging and troubleshooting existing processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. + Implementing solutions to enhance next step of operator guide systems and DB structure to ensure best practice. + Conducting data analysis to support debugging efforts and generate insightful reports. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new production technologies. + Providing technical support and training to Production Engineers and Maintenance to ensure smooth operation of server/DB equipment and processes. + Be the internal production IT “go to” for answers and advanced solutions Finally, you will also contribute to automating and/or upgrading various production processes to achieve higher output, better quality, and reduced costs in daily operation. **Background & Skills** There are many ways into this role for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced technician or an engineer by education, we value some years of experience in a similar role. However, we are also open to recently graduated engineers with the right attitude. Electrical / electronic background with understanding of automation will be an advantage Most important is that you have an operational mindset and that you are experienced with or have a natural flair for working with IT, various digital systems, database structure. You know how to read and write MS SQL queries and are knowledgeable about MES/MOM, with a keen interest in further developing these skills. Experience with higher programming languages (e.g., Python, .NET, LabVIEW) or PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff), will also be preferable. As we operate in a multicultural and international environment, proficiency in English is needed. For this role, basic proficiency in Danish is also required or a strong willingness to quickly learn and develop proficiency. On a more personal level, you demonstrate strength in teamwork, possess effective communication skills, and are adaptable to changes.
