The R&R Flow Leader is responsible for coordinating the department along with internal and external supporting departments to ensure Work Orders in the department are produced on time for shipment in an efficient and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
Using the schedule to determine and coordinate deployment of production resources to meet shipment dates. Including scheduling of Work Order pulls from the warehouse.
Verify all parts from the warehouse and open stock are accounted for.
Using company systems to investigate unavailable parts with associated departments for possible substitutes.
Verifying all parts are labeled correctly prior to delivering to shipping. Review order for any needed assembly or sub assembly. Assigning direct employee to complete work required.
Resolving any assembly issues through research in company systems, associated departments or escalating to associated Lead persons.
Report all Work Orders moved to shipping to Production Scheduler for updating.
Drive and support Safety and 5S projects in the area.
Other duties may be assigned to help fulfill departmental workload or company goals.
Basic qualifications:
Experience with manufacturing leadership
Blueprint reading required
Basic skills on computer- research, inventory, Microsoft office, etc.
High school required
Ability to multi task and work under pressure
Ability to be organized
Attention to detail and good communication
Preferred qualifications:
at least 1 year experience in a lead role in an industrial manufacturing environment. Electrical experience a plus but not a dealbreaker
Experience in industrial maintenance, service technician, or military background with maintenance or electrical experience a plus!
