Manufacturing Machine Operator
Join our dynamic team as a **Manufacturing Machine Operator** and play a pivotal role in our production processes. You will operate a range of machinery and equipment and assemble products while emphasizing safety, efficiency, and quality. This position offers growth opportunities through progressive responsibilities, from basic tasks to more advanced operations in Mechanic Falls, Maine. **Schedules:** 4-day week 6:30am-5pm / 3-day weekend 6:30am-7pm **Pay:** $18-$21 depending on skill level (+ differential will be paid for weekend shift) **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Perform various production tasks, including tumbling, handweaving, closing, end cap cleaning, tape cleaning, and vacuum sealing. + Master core tasks and expand responsibilities to include floating, pad printing, gluing, weaving, punch and die fiber cutting (Neff), and rotary and laser fiber cutting. + Operate press fit lathe, drilling, warp fiber weaver, SVP/SGA tasks, and acting as the quality . + Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and address defects or issues. + Maintain cleanliness and organization within the production area to minimize hazards. + Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. + Adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience. + Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures. + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. **Competencies:** + Strong attention to detail with precision in repetitive tasks. + Effective communication and teamwork skills. + Dependable with a strong attendance record and positive attitude. + Proficiency in using and reading measuring tools. + Ability to set up equipment accurately and efficiently. + Math Skills + Active participation in problem-solving and continuous improvement. + Experience operating measuring equipment and complex machinery. + Ability to train and support new team members effectively. **Apply now to get started!
