Job Summary: The Manufacturing Manager ensures that dates are in control and determines if we need to outsource processes and/or work overtime to meet delivery dates. The Manufacturing Manager manages the availability of manufactured parts, purchased parts, and outside operations to align with Flowserve’s shop labor.

Responsibilities & Requirements: Your main responsibilities will be around several aspects

Safety - creating and driving a safe work environment

Quality - supporting the production of quality products

Delivery - on time delivery to meet our customer needs

Inventory - balance inventory needs with customer requirements

Cost - responsible for labor cost and absorption according to plan

Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years in leadership roles industrial operations 
- Must have at least 5 years of full P&L responsibility which includes standard cost systems, manufacturing operation, supply chain/ purchasing, quality assurance, inside sales and product development.
- Experience with foreign markets, managing operations in remote locations, and export controls necessary.
- Familiarity with financial and operational reporting, metrics, and performance management systems required.
- Strong leadership skills are necessary, especially the ability to influence across an organization and build high performing teams
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a must for the position.
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 8-10 years relevant experience
