Manufacturing Manager

Job Summary
As the Manufacturing Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership and executive oversight to our manufacturing division, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. In this senior leadership position, you'll manage a workforce of 300 employees while driving operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all plastics manufacturing functions.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute comprehensive manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market demands
+ Lead a multi-tiered management team to achieve exceptional productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics
+ Establish and maintain robust quality control systems and operational standards across multiple production lines
+ Drive significant cost optimization initiatives while maintaining the highest quality standards
+ Oversee capital expenditure planning and implementation of new manufacturing technologies
+ Build and nurture strategic relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners
+ Spearhead continuous improvement programs utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies
+ Develop and implement succession planning and leadership development programs for your extensive team
+ Collaborate with executive leadership to align manufacturing capabilities with business growth objectives
Qualifications:
+ Rotating shift pattern (2-2-3) with 12-hour shifts
+ Proven track record managing large-scale manufacturing operations (200+ employees)
+ Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management; MBA preferred
+ Minimum 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in plastics industry
+ Advanced knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and technologies
+ Strategic planning and P&L management expertise
+ Excellence in developing high-performing teams and mentoring future leaders
