Job Description

Manufacturing and People Management:

Leading a team of Mechanical assemblers and integrators (~15 employees) of complex electro optics systems to ensure efficient processesLead all aspects of the assembly and integration processes, ensuring quality, efficiency and adherence to specificationsCoordination of operation activities with Supply Chain/Materials , Engineering, , R&D, Service and Customer supportSet production targets, monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet deadlinesMotivate team members and encourage collaboration, handle conflicts constructively

Communication and Reporting:

Report on team performance, production metrics, and any bottlenecksTake proactive actions and maintain a strategic approachCollaborate effectively with international peers

Team Development and Training:

Participate in hiring new team members and provide training on assembly techniques and machine integrationIdentify skill gaps and arrange trainings to enhance capabilities

Efficiency and Process Improvement:

Continuously improve assembly and integration processes Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policiesIdentify potential risks and take preventive measuresMaintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurate records related to production, quality checks, and team performance

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

University degree in Electronics or Mechanics or industrial management with technical background or equivalent degree with meaningful experienceProven experience in management. In a global company with manufacturing processes (capital equipment) – an advantage.Excellent interpersonal skills handling internal interfaces (R&D/Operations/Service)Strong leadership, communication, managerial, technical and analytical skillsExcellent English and German (verbal and written)Background knowledge of Operational Excellence methodologies such as Lean
