The Manufacturing Operations Manager Senior will set direction, deploying resources, managing others and ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.  The individual will control and direct the activities of a broad functional area through several department Senior Managers and Managers. They will have the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expenses, priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.  They have accountability for budget and policy recommendations and medium to long-term planning.  They will also adapt and execute functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of functional or departmental strategies.

Responsibilities Lead and facilitate daily/weekly/monthly safety meetings and lead/assist in the resolution of safety itemsResponsible for providing a safe work environment including employee adherence to guidelines and ensuring that safety audits and checks are performed as requiredOwn built-in-quality for all production processes in the assemblyAccountable for the onboarding, training, and mentoring of direct reportsMust attain key metrics in safety, quality, efficiency, delivery and moraleDesign and implement continuous improvement processes uses Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma MethodologiesDevelop and adhere to financial budget for areas of accountabilityResponsible for cultivating a healthy high-performance culture through-out the organization, including both management and hourly Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 10 years of production/manufacturing experienceAt least 4 years of management experience
