Manufacturing Operative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Production

Manufacture and filling of cartridges

Assist with labelling of cartridges when required. Production waste management in association with Site Manager and QC department. Carry out regular maintenance checks and ongoing maintenance of mixing equipment, presses and compressor. Upkeep of pallet and drum moving equipment In process QC checks and support QC with recommended modifications. Attending and contributing to weekly operations meetings.

 

Additional Responsibilities

Ensure raw materials are stored and labelled correctly and storage areas are kept clean and tidy. Assist with annual stock take Acceptance of incoming raw materials and packaging to include GRN application and safe storage of goods. Notify relevant personnel of received goods so they can book into Factory Master.

General

Cleanliness and tidiness of working environment. Maintenance of grounds – lawn mowing, weed control, miscellaneous tasks as required Accident free working – reporting all incidents and accidents to management. Housekeeping audits/risk assessments as required under Health and Safety/Compliance guidelines. Identify relevant training requirements and attend trainings specified by Manager as need arises.
