Manufacturing Operator
Location – Templecombe
Hours - 4 day week Monday-Thursday
Our Opportunity
Due to demand, we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operator to join our Maritime Mission Systems business unit in Templecombe.
You will be responsible for building electrical and mechanical assembly operations as well as the below key tasks:
following manufacturing instructions such as routings, wiring schedules and drawings.
Identifying logs faults.
Maintaining any necessary documentation as part of the build process.
Ensuring production equipment and tools are used and maintained to the required workshop standards.
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with a manufacturing/assembly background as well as the below:

Able to work as part of a team

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
