What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Senior, you will perform all NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) activities in the Machine Operations Center. This position includes a strong knowledge of Project, Excel and the ability to work independently. This position will work closely with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, as well as the ability to report status weekly to Center Management . Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts. Analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or work around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5+ years of professional experience; or 3+ years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with SAP
Experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing environments
Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:
Project management experience
Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, business
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
Experience in SAP and Microsoft Project
Ability to obtain Green belt certification
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Very good organization and communication skills
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
