In this vital role, you will operate manufacturing equipment for inspection and packaging operations, ensuring product quality and compliance with Amgen standards. You will complete a variety of tasks, including routine tests, documenting results, and troubleshooting equipment. This role requires adaptability, cross-training in multiple functions, and the ability to perform both routine and non-routine tasks within the assigned inspection or packaging line. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-standard shift manufacturing environment. Multiple positions available. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Operate, set up, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. + Conduct routine tests to verify compliance with Amgen specifications and document results accurately. + Identify and address equipment performance issues through basic troubleshooting. + Recognize and respond to deviations in procedures, applying sound judgment to resolve issues within standard operating protocols. + Support automated and/or manual inspection and packaging activities as needed. + Utilize computer systems and electronic batch records for data entry and process monitoring. + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to material handling, record-keeping, inspection, and packaging while maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). + Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support efficient manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Technician professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: High school/GED and 1 year of manufacturing experience OR Associate's degree Preferred Qualifications: + Technical degree. + Experience in GMP manufacturing or another regulated environment. + Familiarity with manual inspection and packaging activities. + Proficiency in computer systems and electronic batch records. + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. + Team player with problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions collaboratively. + Quality-driven, diligent, and proactive with a positive attitude. + Flexible to work non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. + Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
