**Job Title: Manufacturing Production Technician** **Job Description** As a Manufacturing Production Technician, you will be responsible for operating various electric and pneumatic power tools, welding aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel, and handling various equipment. Your role will involve physical activities such as crouching, bending, reaching, and walking. **Responsibilities** + Operate electric power tools, including circular saws, drills, grinders, and plasma cutters. + Operate pneumatic power tools, including riveting guns, drills, grinders, sanders, cut-off grinders, punches, air hammers, and rivet clinchers. + Perform welding tasks on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel. + Operate press brakes, shears, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, radial arm saws, hydraulic hoists, and overhead cranes. + Perform fabrication and mechanical repairs as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with power tools and pneumatic tools. + Basic welding skills. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide factors. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Ability to stand for 10 hours per day. + Ability to lift 10 to 25 lbs over 2/3 of the day. + Ability to lift 50 lbs approximately 2/3 of the day. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No required certifications or education. Must know how to MIG weld if not certified. + Willingness to learn how to use hand tools, power tools, and to weld on aluminum surfaces. **Why Work Here?** We offer a set shift schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring you do not have to work in the elements outside or travel. Additionally, we provide monthly meals, personalized training with a trainer, and opportunities to learn welding. **Work Environment** This role is based in a manufacturing shop, consistently working near moving and mechanical parts. The team consists of 120 production employees, typically working in groups of 2-5 people. The work attire includes steel toe/composite boots, jeans, and at minimum short sleeve shirts. Shorts, tank tops, or cut-offs are not permitted. The company provides PPE, including a hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 5:00am - 3:30pm for 1st shift and 3:15pm - 1:45am for 2nd shift.
