THE POSITION
Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Manufacturing Program Management Manager for our Chandler, AZ location. As a Manufacturing Program Management Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Program / Project Planning & Coordination:
+ Develop and manage manufacturing initiatives' program plans, schedules, and budgets.
+ Collaborate with engineering, NPI, and other departments to define program requirements and objectives, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
+ Coordinate training materials creation for new programs, policies, and procedures to address manufacturing requirements.
+ Manage team KPI for team members and upper management and create successful strategies to achieve timely goals.
+ Cross-Functional Team Leadership:
+ Lead/Coach cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
+ Serve as the contact point for manufacturing program stakeholders.
+ Lead project managers, engineers, and/or hourly personnel to project completion, emphasizing safety, quality, cost targets, and proper documentation.
+ Build relationships with business partners, contractors, and vendors to execute projects successfully on a timely basis.
+ Program / Project Improvement Efficiency:
+ Coordinate continuous project reviews, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement, always promoting intent-base leadership and on-time escalation.
+ Promote the involving all stakeholders, including team members, customers, and suppliers, in the improvement process.
+ Lead the learning process in the manufacturing group, adopting industry best practices and standards tailored to the project's specific needs.
+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project performance.
+ Risk & Budget Management:
+ Assess potential risks related to manufacturing programs and develop mitigation strategies
+ Conduct financial analyses to support resource allocation and decision-making
+ Plan, track, and report on program budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets
+ Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that may impact timelines or deliverables
+ Up to 20% travel expected

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
This position is incentive plan eligible.

POSTING TIMELINE:
The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
+ U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.
+ Clearance Required: you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance.
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or a related field.
+ Minimum of 7 years in management roles, with proven experience in people, project management, and stakeholder communication.
+ 5+ Years of experience working with vendors, suppliers, contractors, or similar project and/or program management
+ 5+ years of experience working with new programs and their execution, monitoring key indicators, and working with leadership to accomplish timely goals.
PREFERRED
+ Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
+ Advanced degree in engineering or a related field
+ Demonstrated experience in solving problems using PDCA or any other analytical tools.
+ Wide experience supporting critical processes.
+ Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
+ Wide experience creating positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, internal customers, and stakeholders.
+ Strong project management skills
+ Knowledge of industry safety and progress best practices and emerging trends in manufacturing
+ Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
