We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Bohemia, New York.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day Quality Assurance Engineering support across all areas of the company, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development, Procurement, and Product Assurance!

What We’re Looking For:

3 years of related experience in Manufacturing or Industrial sectors.A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Applied Sciences.Six Sigma Certification (e.g., CSSGB).Knowledge of AS9100, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-883, and IPC-A-610.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ensuring Product Assurance Conformance and Compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS).Providing day-to-day Quality Assurance Engineering support across various departments.Maintaining and improving quality control procedures to meet company and regulatory standards.Resolving quality issues through continuous improvement and collaboration with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.Conducting internal audits and analyzing root causes of non-conforming products.Supporting customer Source Inspections and attending audits and conferences.

Work Environment: Our company is a full hands-on design engineering and manufacturing firm. The primary environment for this role is within the Engineering team, which operates in an office/cubicle setting. However, candidates will also have exposure to the manufacturing floor, allowing them to see products being made and tested. This position offers a comprehensive view of the entire operation and its processes. Currently, the Mechanical Engineering team consists of two members, but we are expanding due to increased business demands, making this the first of several new hires.
