This position reports to

Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

•\tExecutes testing according to schedule, prepares project test documentation, and provides technical support during the installation of test objects.•\tPerforms duties in compliance with quality procedures and policies, including regular quality testing as part of the production process.•\tConducts incoming inspections on materials, electrical and mechanical parts, and equipment using engineering drawings, specifications, quality procedures, and purchase orders.•\tIssues Non-conformance reports for materials rejected during incoming inspection or identified during production/testing.•\tReleases nuclear orders and issues Certificates according to nuclear order procedures.•\tConducts disassembly and assembly work to produce repaired, refurbished, or upgraded products, including packing, typically done manually or with light hand tools.•\tSuggests and supports the implementation of continuous improvement ideas.•\tConducts shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s in electrical /Electro-Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Electro-mechanical engineering Knowledge about the operating mechanism of the Circuit Breaker, arc quenching phenomenon and basic interlocks required in the Circuit Breaker schemeExperience with reading and troubleshooting electrical schematics and control wiring.Knowledge of various Routine and Type tests performed on Circuit Breakers, Switchgears, NAL Switches, etc.Knowledge and experience with performing and troubleshooting Dielectric tests like HIPOT, Partial Discharge measurements & BIL TestsKnowledge and experience in performing continuous current tests – Heat Run TestExperience in CT, PT and Control Power Transformer testing.Knowledge of Technical and Test Report writingBasic knowledge of quality control and calibration process Practical Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems.Hands-on experience with simple measuring tools such as Caliper, angle gauge, measuring tape, etc.Good oral and written communication skillsGood knowledge and use of MS OfficePhysical RequirementsAble to do repetitive work. Able to lift 40 lbs. Stand or sit for extended periods of time.
