The Manufacturing Scientist 1 for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting a project manager with deliverables required to transfer new reagent products into manufacturing. This position is part of the New Product Integration team located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site position. You will be a part of the New Product Integration team and report to the Manager, New Product Integration responsible for new reagent product transfer into manufacturing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Partner with New Product Integration project managers and R&D teams to assess manufacturability throughout the Innovation Development Process of new immunoassay reagent products + Coordinate or participate in the translation of assay designs into manufacturing documentation (i.e. Standard Operating Procedures, Product Labeling, Material Specification Sheet, Oracle Item Masters/Routings/Bill of Materials etc.) + Coordinate or participate in operations-related activities required for the transfer of new products to routine production such as scale-up, process validation, test method validation. + Participate in New Product Integration process continuous improvement efforts The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering + Experience working against tight project deadlines + Experience in implementing continuous process improvements, with a track record of measurable enhancements in efficiency or productivity + Experience working as a member of a team It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Immunoassay diagnostics and with Quality System Regulations within a manufacturing environment + Project Management and Daily Management best practices + Buffer preparation, cell culture, protein purification and/or conjugation Join our winning team today.
