Job Title: Manufacturing Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Manufacturing Software Engineer responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving software defects across various platforms. You will work closely with hardware teams, various device software teams for drivers, and factory manufacturing specialists to ensure the quality and stability of our products. Your role involves creating images for devices, booting the device, and running tests with a keen eye for detail and effective communication.

ResponsibilitiesReproduce and analyze reported software bugs by investigating issues, gathering logs, and identifying root causes.Triage and prioritize bugs based on their impact, collaborating with developers and leads to ensure critical issues are addressed first.Develop and execute test cases to verify bug fixes and ensure resolved issues do not introduce new problems.Collaborate with developers to understand the codebase, identify potential areas of improvement, and provide clear and concise bug reports.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process by suggesting new tools or workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in embedded software development.Proficiency in C++ or C# for navigating the codebase.Experience in triaging and debugging, and creating a process for these activities.Ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate across teams to identify root causes and solve issues.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
