Manufacturing Staff Accountant
Description • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including journal entries and account reconciliations. • Assist with general ledger maintenance and support financial statement preparation. • Prepare accruals, prepaid expense schedules, and fixed asset tracking. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. • Manage the Accounts Payable process and authorize payment to suppliers Top Skills Details Manufacturing, Month end, Journal entries General ledger GAAP Reconciliation Accounts payable Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong emphasis in cost accounting; manufacturing experience strongly preferred. • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting principles, and internal controls. • Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor) and advanced Excel skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.66/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
