Your Role at BaxterYour role as a Manufacturing Superintendent positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Baxter to fulfill our mission to save and sustain lives. You manage the line between meeting production timelines and making quality products. As a manager, you are the trusted critical connection between the business and the workers on the floor.
This position has overall responsibility for the Frames manufacturing operations for welding, painting, assembly. Leading, managing, and guiding supervisors and utilities to reach critical metrics related to Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost/budget, and Delivery. Establishment, leadership, and execution of strategies to ensure FDA readiness, OMS strategies, VIP Savings projects, Safety Awareness & Compliance

What you'll be doingAmong others, these are some of the responsibilities for this role:
Establishment of the manufacturing sequence to achieve production goals daily.Responsible for the quality of the operation product process, which may include the ownership of resolving quality problems using the CAPA methodology, implement processes validation and qualification, develop, and implement process controls using statistical techniques such as design of experiments.Manage the implementation of product changes through fabrication, purchasing, and assembly due to engineering changes and new product instructions.Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies into the manufacturing process including material flow and line balancing, workstation arrangements to meet required production rates and improve efficiency of the painting process.Direction and leadership to utilities and supervisors on the day-to-day manufacturing operations in welding TIG / MIG, Electrostatic Painting, Assembly operations and preventive equipment maintenance.Facilitate support groups on priorities, manages works teams to assure goals and objectives are being achieved, works with human resources, engineering, sourcing, and supplier quality engineers to ensure the daily rate fulfillment.Collaboration with NPI sourcing leaders and managers to support new product introduction, pilot run, support in TCO engineering project and Sourcing VIP for Monterrey site.What you'll bringBachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of work experience and education in a specific technical subject area.
Proven experience (5-8 years) in manufacturing process (medical field desirable).
Bilingual: English Spanish
