From the engineers who design large-scale production systems and cutting-edge quality assurance tools to the hands-on associates who manage our massive inventory flow, they make up a diverse group of behind-the-scenes thinkers dedicated to the success of our organization. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** This full time, benefits-eligible role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a dedicated project with an expected duration of 12 months. While the position is fixed-term, you'll gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact throughout the project's timeline. There is potential for further opportunities within the organization upon project completion, though continued employment is not guaranteed. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervises and coordinates activities and efficiencies of employees in a manufacturing work environment for the repair and refurbishing of satellite TV receivers and accessories + Reviews productivity of employees on a daily basis for accuracy and compliance with established procedures, and determines workload for team members + Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow + Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates + Traces history of unresolved issues to determine reasons for errors or needed corrections and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies + Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems + Conducts daily and weekly meetings with team members + Capable of performing all job duties of direct reports at a high level of proficiency + Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff. Is responsible for the performance of subordinates + Provides leadership to a manufacturing team and promoting employee engagement **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + Four year degree from college or technical school is preferred; or equivalent experience and/or training + Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5-S and KanBan is preferred **Skills and Qualifications:** + Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance/procedure instructions + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence + Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists + Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form **Salary Ranges** Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year **Benefits** We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits . Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
