What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Greenville, SC, you will play a key role in supporting the production and assembly of the F-16 Block 70 aircraft. This position focuses on ensuring smooth daily operations on the production line, maintaining manufacturing standards, and providing on-the-job training to technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production line operations to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes, schedules, and quality standards
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to technicians, ensuring workforce readiness and skill development.
- Conduct skill assessments to identify training needs and enhance team performance.
- Identify and resolve process deficiencies, implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, standard work procedures, and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and workflow
- Assist in reviewing and updating work instructions, technical documents, and production guidelines to maintain accuracy and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience relative to Aviation Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair or Overhaul (MMRO) Operations or related Manufacturing Experience.
Experience meeting critical schedules, resolving complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience interacting with internal/external customers.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.
Previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, or Navy 7 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential such as an licensed FAA “Airframe and Power" plant or Inspector Airframe license.
Previous experience in aviation structural repair or manufacturing associated with drill, ream, and countersink knowledge - skill - and abilities.
Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing or processes.
