Within ASML Linkou factory, NPI Engineering Sustaining team is responsible for supporting YieldStar D&E in Veldhoven the Netherlands for YieldStar product design break-in, integration, qualification and issue resolution. Design change and specific project support also in scope per project request
You are Sustaining Team Leader in Linkou factory Taiwan for ASML YieldStar product sustainability ownership. Our primary responsibility is proactively leading to handle the Design & Quality issues during high volume manufacturing and service at customer fields with effective containments and the structural solutions. As a Linkou factory NPI Engineering Sustaining Team Leader, your responsibility is to plan, organize, and track all D&E activities/deliverables in a multidisciplinary team. These activities cover the complete scope of AIR(ASML Issue Resolution) issue life cycle (PCCSTRAIM), issue prioritization, team resource management and deliverables updates to all stakeholders.
Role and responsibilities
The Linkou factory NPI Engineering - Sustaining Team Leader is responsible for the following:
Lead 13 Engineers to ensure on time task delivery.
Align and interface frequently with several projects in Taiwan and in the Netherlands.
Work together with assigned Project Leads to work on the defined business improvement projects (project plan, resources and project deliverables etc.) to meet the project objectives and timeline.
Work together with Sustaining Project Lead on reviewing the progress on issue resolution by following AIR PCCSTRAIM WoW to ensure the solution can be on time delivery
Communicate with stakeholders (MFG,CS,PCM,Veldhoven DE) on regular basis.
Understand proper escalation paths to appropriate stakeholders and acts accordingly.
Have knowledge in a local/TW multiple engineering disciplines (MDEV/EDEV/MTD/SDEV/Physics/ME) and its WoW.
Have capability of issue intake and issue quality sanity check in technical for further explaining to stakeholders.
Manage design and program risks to match program requirements.
Present and highlight relevant information to key stakeholders.
Able to assess and address technical risk based on input of architects and design engineers
Education and experience
Master’s degree in engineering relevant background
Minimum 5+ years in a Engineering team leadership/project leader role
Skills
Strong people leadership and influencing skills
Strong communication skills in English
Team player and goal oriented.
Capable of presenting/managing project/issue with ‘Global/Helicopter’ overview.
Strong ownership
Other information
Flexibility for international travel and facilitator night calls is required.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
