Introduction to the job

As a YieldStar(YS) System Industrialisation Engineer, your responsibility is to plan and organize a smooth break-in to production for each engineering change process.

During engineering change and review process, you need to review the design changes, offer design feedback, estimate the impact to production and facilitator the introduction with respect to People/Product/Process/Production tool/Production facility/Procedure (so called 6P plan) to production engineer.

You are responsible for maintaining Manufacturing BoM per engineering change process and feedback the break-in issue and solution proposal back to Veldhoven(VHV) DE(Design and Engineering) and Project Lead(PL). Being a decent bridge to eliminate the technical/non-technical gap between VHV DE/Project and Linkou Factory.

Role and Responsibilities

Able to provide quick containment with data driven analysis for YS issues

Familiar with YS hardware and it’s config/BoM structure

Lead YS design change introduction process (break-in) to ensure no disturbance to production.

Align and interface frequently with VHV DE, ME/PE, LF PE and LF PLM for smooth break-in for VHV projects

Create introduction work plans per People/Product/Process/Production tool/Production (6P plan) with assistance from PL/DE in VHV and PLM/PE in TW

Review Engineering Change(EC) and maintain Manufacturing BoM accordingly to ensure there’s no impact to production

Provide production procedure and training in detail to PE for NPI project

Communicate upward and downward on regular basis to eliminate the communication gap         

Understand proper escalation paths to appropriate stakeholders and act accordingly

Have basic knowledge of multiple DE disciplines (MDEV/EDEV/MTD/SDEV/ME) and its way of working

Have capability of issue intake and issue quality sanity check in technical for further explaining to VHV stakeholders.

Able to assess and address technical risk for each engineering change based on input from PE/PLM/SCE to VHV DE/PL

Flexibility for international travel and facilitate night calls is required

Education and experience

Bachelor degree or above in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Skills

Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability

Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision 

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with manager, co-workers and customers

Strong technical writing and communication skills in English, including presenting results based on strong statistical evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities

Other information

Travel during the knowledge transfer and project collaboration with ASML VHV DE is expected. Candidate must be able to travel 1~2 times a year to VHV, Netherlands when business needed
