If you share our bold mindset to be best-in-class, we want you IN. **Your Future Role** As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer at Innomotics Medium Voltage Drives (MVD) division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products. You will be responsible for crafting, developing, implementing and sustaining test equipment including testing procedures to validate the functionality of MVDs and internal subsystems, using innovative tools and concepts. This position is based out of New Kensington, PA and will work a hybrid schedule. The role of Manufacturing Systems Engineer will include the following duties requiring specific skills outlined below: + **Design and Develop Manufacturing Test Systems:** Build and sustain electromechanical manufacturing test systems to ensure product performance and quality for MVDs including subsystems and components. + **Test Software Development** : Design custom software applications to control and supervise test equipment, collect and analyze data, and generate digital test reports. Proven expertise in crafting, developing, and implementing sophisticated software solutions that meet specific requirements. Proficiency in dataflow programming and distributed actor frameworks is a plus. + **Test Hardware Development:** Design, implement and maintain custom hardware, including data acquisition and control systems to facilitate testing and data collection. Expertise in Data Acquisition, PCBA design, Machine Vision and Robotics is a plus. + **Test System Qualification:** Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies, including Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) for evaluation of test measurement system precision and variation. + **Test System Documentation:** Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and equipment configurations. + **Continuous Improvement:** Identify areas for process improvements and implement enhancements to increase testing and/or manufacturing efficiency and accuracy. This includes problem-solving, optimizing, and improving the functionality of existing systems. Knowledge of reverse engineering methods are a plus. + **Manufacturing Technologies** : Assess technologies and trends in manufacturing including, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, autonomous robotics, big data, cloud computing, digital twin simulation, and system integration to find opportunities to optimize MVD manufacturing. **Your Profile** + Bachelor of Science in related Engineering discipline or 15+ years of proven experience in Manufacturing Test Engineering required. + Experience crafting sophisticated test software architectures using National Instruments LabVIEW. Python programming & JSON syntax experience is a plus. + Experience deploying test systems globally while remotely monitoring & maintaining these targets. + Experience solving and debugging highly sophisticated electromechanical systems in a production environment (including software/debugging) + Experience in printed circuit board layout design. + Experience with electrical safety testing. + Experience leading high complexity, multiple focused engineering projects. + Experience contributing to multiple concurrent system development projects. + Experience with Microsoft Office 365 software suite. + Understanding of LEAN manufacturing, problem solving and continuous improvement techniques. The pay range for this position is $97,500 – 167,200.
