Crucial Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperation
Lead the team in day-to-day operation to achieve operation goals.Lead shopfloor resources (labor, machine, and materials) to meet daily operation plans.Plan and develop weekly work orders according to customer demand.Report team performance and provide timely communication regarding any blocking issues in shopfloor operations.Develop standard methodologies to empower the team in reaching department objectives.Plan, strategize, and supervise the movement of WIP and scheduled activities for maximum efficiency.Manage employee relations and establish a psychologically safe environment.Review cross-team support to fulfill production build plans.Support department and cross-team activities to deliver consistently high-quality products and services.Responsible for all aspects of emergency response, including developing incident objectives and managing incident action plans.Develop CapabilitiesCollaborate with the Manager to identify and develop relevant abilities and skills within the team.Improve team flexibility through cross-training.Develop training plans for the team, including induction, on-the-job training, and certification.Support and guide the team by providing timely and constructive feedback and empowering employees to take on higher responsibilities.QualityConduct Gemba to identify difficulties and areas of improvement, taking necessary actions to address them.Ensure safety, operation procedures, the field, and 5S are strictly observed and adhered to.Participate in and communicate manufacturing safety risk assessments.Ensure documentation, data, and inventory accuracies.Qualification and ExperiencesDegree in any engineering field or equivalent experience; fresh graduates can apply.Diploma with any engineering field with more than 5 years’ experience.1 to 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position, preferably in an Instrument assembly process environment.More than 5 years’ experience in shopfloor manufacturing planning will be considered.Proficiencies PreferredStrong sense of responsibility and ownership.Able to work under pressure and make sound decisions independently.Good supervisory skills, including leading, motivating, and developing others.Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Strong organization and leadership skills.Familiar with ISO 90001 and good manufacturing practices.
