Assist Manufacturing Engineers (ME’s) in every aspect of machining operationsWork with the tool crib attendants closely and provide emergency stand in support as neededWork in direct relationship with all parties involved. Should the need arise to cover production, assist Shift Leaders, or any other aspect of business conducted at Tekfor USA, MET must do so in accordance with prior approval/direction from the Machining Supervisor.Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneouslyMaintain open communication with all departmentsInvestigate and develop cost-saving initiatives and continuous process improvementsKnow and understand IATF 16949: Tekfor Quality Policy and ProceduresSupport any Production Engineering function when requiredPerform other assigned duties as requiredPerform all housekeeping duties including any 5S tasksMake minor CNC program editsPerform machine setups/changeoversAssist in Continuous Improvement and CPAR activities as assignedCompletes all required documentation and ensures their accuracy and timeliness of completionTeach and troubleshoot robotics as requiredSupport operators to achieve safety, quality and production targetsTrain other employees as assignedAssist other support departments as neededRequired Skills and Education
