Manufacturing Tech Advanced Core Green Finishing 2nd Shift
**A Snapshot of Your Day** In this role, you will be finishing, measuring dewax and accelerated aging operations for green molded cores according to daily production requirements. Will process cores and associated routers through the green finishing operations and monitors all equipment systems in the Gibsonton Florida Location. **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Trained andsigned off on Demonstrated Skills Checklist for Mercury, for green finishingoperations. + Checking thestatus for each accelerated oven to understand the daily schedule for thenumber of cores to be finished and processed for their shift, checking thedaily demolding schedule to understand the finishing and dewax schedulefor their assigned shift. + Using rotatinghand tools, files, band saws and additional hand tools for processing. + Ability to usecalibrated scissor calipers for defined part measurements. Techniciansmust monitor and maintain good documentation practices to ensure parts aremade according to engineering specifications and quality standards. + Adjustmachines, set controls, and perform troubleshooting as required byoperational and quality criteria. Request work orders for any equipmentnot operating to standard. Ensure all equipment calibration is current anddocumented. + Other dutiesmay be assigned and cross-training as needed. **What You Bring** + High schoolgraduate or GED. + Ability to readEngineering instructions. + Demonstratedmechanical aptitude. + Applicants mustbe legally authorized for employment in the United States without the needfor current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. + This positionwill require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau ofIndustry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate ofDefense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisitefor this position.
