**In your role as Manufacturing Technical Engineer** **at Kohler Ventures you will:**
+ Develop manufacturing solutions that align with factory targets and product reliability requirements.
+ Establish standard manufacturing practices and processes, independently determining their impact on design and final product parameters.
+ Collaborate with leadership to design and build assembly lines.
+ Ensure manufacturability of new product designs through application of circuit diagram guidelines.
+ Lead circuit diagram reviews and work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and manage manufacturing risks.
+ Conduct detailed circuit reviews to identify manufacturing pain points and propose design alternatives.
+ Define and review product assembly SOPs.
+ Partner with other engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges by following best practices.
+ Review and provide feedback on product designs for robustness and scalability.
+ Provide production support engineering for complex SMT processes, testing methods, and failure analysis.
+ Present clear and concise reports on manufacturing equipment readiness and processes.
+ Drive failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
**Skills/Requirements**
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
+ 5+ years of experience in electrical product design and/or manufacturing.
+ Experience with mass production of hardware products or related fields.
+ Proficiency in advanced analysis techniques, including DOE, failure analysis, PFMEA.
+ Expertise in design for manufacturing, SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma techniques
+ Experience in production line development, including flowcharting, cycle time calculation, UPH setup, line layout and balance, SOP creation.
+ Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
+ Experience in understanding and challenging tolerance stack-ups to meet gap/step requirements.
+ Knowledge of quality control processes and part print references.
+ Ability to manage projects and work effectively in team environments.
+ Working knowledge of quality improvement, lean manufacturing methods, statistical process controls, and process capability.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams to meet or exceed objectives.
+ Fluent in English.
