Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Technician with experience in assembly, testing, manufacturing, or a related field to support space structures subassembly manufacturing and system level hardware testing.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years' experience in assembly, test, manufacturing or related field

Ability to obtain a security clearance and work in a classified area

4 years of experience with manufacturing of space qualified hardware

Hi-Reliability, Bonding, and Aerial Platform certifications

Experience working with hand and torque tools / measurement tools (Micrometers/Calipers)

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience

Responsibilities:

Support of space structures Subassembly manufacturing and Single Line Flow integration

Preparation for and conducting system level hardware testing (deployments, vibe, etc.)

Performing system level alignments to meet system requirements

Field support for spacecraft integration and precision alignments

Assisting in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment

Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing and maintaining equipment components devices or systems

Operating related equipment; conducting tests and reporting data in prescribed format

Performing calibration alignment checks; making adjustments modifications replacements as directed preparing prescribed compounds solutions

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
