Job Title: **Manufacturing Technician** Job Type: **Full Time; Consultant** (12 Months) Location: **Oxnard, CA - 100% Onsite** Shift: **9x80 Schedule** Pay Rate: **$27.00 - $31.00 per hour** **Job Description:** + Technician could end up performing any number of tasks. Examples of the kind of tasks are as follows: assembling large tooling structures, using two-part epoxies for bonding, assembling small/delicate mechanical flight hardware, working with and assembling composite structures, sewing/stitching mesh fabric. + Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. + Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. + Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. + Works with engineers in conducting experiments. **Qualifications (Experience/Skills):** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Due to government regulations this position is open only to US Citizens. + Knowledge and experience with all common mechanical hand tools. + Knowledge and experience with fasteners and torqueing mechanical fasteners. + Ability to read and understand blue-print style mechanical drawings. + Knowing and understanding how to read blueprint type assembly drawings. + An ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, ask questions and fit-it within a team working environment. **Ready to take the next step in your career?** Apply now to join PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. as a Manufacturing Technician and be part of something great in Oxnard, CA! **Pay Details:** $27.00 to $31.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
