Our Fabrication Division is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for their operations in Romeoville, which include key manufacturing processes such as Laser cutting, Bending, Welding, Tapping, and CNC Lathe. JOB DUTIES + Review job packets. + Create in-process-inspection plans + Enters transfer orders to return excess material to the branches. + Responds to customer service emails regarding ship dates & inventory check. + Enter buy backs for quality discrepancies + Adjusts inventory count on the floor according to part numbers. + Investigates order discrepancies. + Back up for scheduling shipments/trucks. + Serves as a backup for creating/modifying routers. + Vendor returns + Print full size layouts + Monitor movement & close transactions of raw & FG transfers JOB REQUIREMENTS + This position requires a High School education but a College degree is preferred + Working knowledge and experience with an MRP/ERP system a plus + CAD/SolidWorks experience + Interpret drawings + Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and email + Ability to make decisions and problem solve manufacturing issues + A minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MINORITY/FEMALE/DISABLED/VETERAN
