About The Role\n
Seegrid has an opening for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our highly-engaged team and help build the future of material handling and warehousing technologies. The Manufacturing Technician is a member of the team responsible for executing the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of various electrical\/mechanical assemblies of our cutting-edge, market-leading AMRs (autonomous mobile robots). This person will work closely with the rest of the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve the processes, methods, and design of our products. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers continue to receive the high quality products and solutions Seegrid is known for.\n
Responsibilities Include:\n\nIntegrate components to industrial trucks and verify operation to specifications\nAssemble, test and calibrate electronic components for manufacturing\nAssemble and verify engineering changes and prototypes\nAssist with set up and maintenance of assembly, test systems and processes\nCalibrate and maintain calibration and test equipment used in manufacturing\nDocument work activities and results\n\n
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:\n\nExperience with PCB assembly and testing\nAbility to read and follow assembly and test instructions and procedures\nAbility to perform light and heavy mechanical and electrical assemblies\nUnderstanding operations and assembly of electrical (AC and DC) systems\nKnowledge of cables, harnesses' fabrication and system's wiring\nKnowledge of electronic, electrical and mechanical components and functionality\nCurrent driver's license\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include shift work, overtime and possibly weekend work.\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nTwo year technical degree or 5-6 years' experience in manufacturing environment\nStrong work ethic\nFlexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment\nHands on, quality conscious and customer focused\nComputer literate\nSoldering certification to IPC standards preferred\nExperience configuring electromechanical systems, to include loading of software\/firmware, preferred\n \n\n
