L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking an Manufacturing Technician C to join our team. This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility.
Position Overview: This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing test and debug operations on a variety of LRU (Line Replaceable Units), circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for successfully testing and debugging L3 products for delivery or repair.
Essential Responsibilities:
Completes manufacturing in compliance with quality specifications, providing mentoring to lower level technicians and assemblersImplements and provides feedback for operation sequence, and the ability to achieve manufacturing requirements and specificationsDevelops methods, tooling, and assembly aids required to achieve special design engineering requirementsCorrects manufacturing failures by making adjustments, or replacing parts or components as directedMonitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control proceduresPerforms continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the businessMaintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgment at all times as detailed in company policy and procedureUphold high ethical standardsSupport OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needsAssist Manufacturing Process Engineering on trends, root causes and corrective actionsParticipate in process improvement activities Adherence to L3Harris policies and procedures, including but not limited to, calibration of equipment, ESD (electrostatic discharge), FOD (foreign object debris/damage) and general housekeeping.A resource to other employees in areas of expertiseWorks under limited supervisionOther responsibilities as assigned by ManagementBasic Qualifications:
