**A Snapshot of Your Day** You will be part of the manufacturing process in the core department that will result in the production of quality castings in the Gibsonton Florida location. Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet. **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Will work in the Core Department with CTEquipment. + Utilizes process knowledge, basic engineeringprinciples, previous experience, and creativity, as necessary to helpdevelop and improve manufacturing processes that result in the productionof quality castings that conform to customer specifications and meetdesired lead times. + Reads and understands engineering procedures toensure adherence and compliance with approved processes. + Participates in plant initiatives to support thereduction of scrap and overall casting costs. Initiatives include but arenot limited to daily production meetings, NPI review meetings, and specialparticipation in cost improvement teams. + Performs metal rework required to eliminatetypical defects observed on casting surface (Benching, Sandblast, FPIRework, etc.). + Collaborates to improve ergonomics and safetyconditions of assigned areas. **What You Bring** + A high school diploma or general education degree(GED) is required. + Previous related CT or manufacturing experience isa plus. + Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment in the United States without the need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization. + This position will require an export license fromthe Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or theDepartment of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance ofany required license is a prerequisite for this position.
