As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a hands-on role in producing high-tech products that support cutting-edge industries. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with mechanical and electrical assemblies, applying your skills to build, test, and improve advanced equipment. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, gaining experience in high-tech manufacturing processes.
Why You Want This Position: Starting Wage: $18 to $20/hour, depending on experience Shift: Monday through Thursday – 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Benefits for long-term employees include 401(k) with company match, ACA health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, Thursday donuts, Temp Employee of the Month, flu vaccines, and performance goals celebrations Work in high tech manufacturing with opportunities to grow or work more hours, as you need
Essential Functions and Duties: Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies using schematics, work orders, wiring diagrams, and instructions Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair, identifying and correcting errors Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment, following all safety policies, procedures, and training; promptly report hazards or incidents Use test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies; record progress, labor, and material usage in computer systems; may assist with programming or software installation Inspect, receive, and audit parts to ensure completeness; check for defects and ensure quality of finished work Troubleshoot and optimize processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and product quality
Qualifications: 1 to 2 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly Ability to assemble components of varying sizes according to diagrams and integrate assemblies into mechanical and electrical systems Prior manufacturing or electrical assembly experience is a plus Moderately experienced technician capable of troubleshooting and working independently High School diploma or equivalent For more information call or text Heather 406-752-0191 in our Kalispell office.
