The Opportunity
Target working shift: M - F 10:00 pm 6:30 am.
As Manufacturing Technician, you will produce cartridges, formulation reagents, and other tasks required within the manufacturing environment(s). You are operating manufacturing and assembly equipment necessary for production within a clean room environment, following cGMP, ISO standards or SOP as applicable in a manufacturing set up.
Also, you are:
Assembling and packaging various components used in making cartridge and kit assemblies and operating all manufacturing line equipment.Collecting process data used to perform routine analysis for manager review.Following and reviewing completed device manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality releaseWorking independently and as a part of an assembly line team, resolving line issues and suggest improvementMaintaining a safe work environment with respect to chemicals and equipmentOrganizing and maintaining floor area and supplies used during work performed. Completing manufacturing work orders in a timely manner, adhere to manufacturing scheduleAssist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as assignedAdditional responsibilities for the Manufacturing Technician II
Assists Team Lead with gathering applicable Daily Management data in order to update daily metrics and identify root causes for red days. Bringing issues to Lead/Supervisor immediately.Cross training staff as assigned by Lead/Supervisor.Providing ideas and thoughts to making process and documents improvements and involved with the implementation. Driving and sustaining 5S within MFG.Adhering to the Kanban system, places cards in their designed location and alerts Lead/Supervisor when issues are identified.Inputing data into MFG logs.Who You Are

Manufacturing Technician I
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environmentManufacturing Technician II
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Or, Technical Certificate, Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a regulated Manufacturing environmentBehaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant.
High vacuum chambers and assembly automation equipment experience Printed circuit board inspection, assembly and packaging experienceExperience in clean room environment under cGMP and ISO/FDA standard as well as manufacturing and assembling medical devices is strongly preferredAbility to think and work both tactically and strategically to provide operational needs to GenMark’s businessStrong quality-orientation with attention to detail and a desire to deliver service excellence Ability to work effectively, exhibit a professional manner and establish constructive working relationshipRelocation benefits are not offered for this job posting.
The expected salary range for this positions based on the primary location of California is 33,700.00 - 62,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
