Manufacturing Technician Lathe 1st Shift Requisition ID: 40754 Job Location(s): Easley, SC, US **Job Description** Danfoss is in need of a Manufacturing Technician Lathe in Easley, SC. The Manufacturing Engineer Technician is responsible for developing the programs and processes used in a machining process, including creating detailed programs, selecting materials, and overseeing the fabrication of machined cartridge components to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This position will lead both prototype and production release programs and follow parts through production to meet customer specification and on time delivery. Root cause problem solving techniques will be performed to improve FPY and reduce scrap. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. + Provide troubleshooting and related shop support using advanced quality tools. Train production personnel as required. + Assist Manufacturing Engineers with new processes and maintaining current processes including poke-yoke fixtures and tools + Specify and assist Manufacturing Engineer with developing the tooling and/or equipment necessary to manufacture a product with respect to the cost, quality, and ease of manufacturing objectives + Develop machining code for prototypes and production releases + Determine the necessary sequence of operations needed to meet manufacturing, quality and cost requirements **Background & Skills** At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses these skills. + Associate degree in related fields or equivalent experience + Five to ten years proven experience in manufacturing processes.
