This internship offers hands-on experience in training development, working closely with manufacturing engineers and operators to document best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and instructional materials that enhance employee skill development. Please note this internship would include 2nd and 3rd shift work as needed. 2nd shift typically runs from 3:30P-11:30P and 3rd shift typically runs from 11:30P - 7:30A. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Develop Machine Training Programs:** Assist in designing and structuring training modules for various manufacturing machines, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company standards. + **Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):** Work alongside production staff and engineers to document detailed operating instructions, troubleshooting steps, and safety protocols for machinery. + **Support On-the-Job Training (OJT) Initiatives:** Collaborate with supervisors and trainers to develop hands-on training strategies that improve machine proficiency among operators. + **Enhance Training Materials:** Utilize multimedia tools (videos, visual guides, and digital documents) to create engaging and effective training resources. + **Assess Training Effectiveness:** Gather feedback from machine operators and trainers to refine materials and ensure clarity and comprehension. + **Compliance & Safety Alignment:** Ensure all training content aligns with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Instructional Design, or a related field. + **Skills:** + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to translate complex machine operations into clear, structured training content. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with video editing or graphic design tools is a plus. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Willingness to engage with machine operators and learn hands-on processes. **Why Intern with Nissha?** Kickstart your career with the Pathfinder Internship Program at Nissha Medical Technologies in Buffalo, NY!
