What You'll Be Doing
Maintain coordination among departments to ensure smooth, uninterrupted flow of work,
Assist in the development of new products.
Perform PMs and repairs on paint trolleys and paint racks.
Track and maintain records for each trolley and paint rack to ensure PMs are being performed on time.
Design, fabricate and build/weld new paint racks.
Continuous improvements to current paint rack designs that will ensure maximum rack utilization while maintaining a quality application of paint.
Promptly address all paint rack safety concerns, that have been escalated by the operators.
Maintain an organized inventory of parts required for trolley PMs and repairs.
Participate in project initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing process. Recommend corrective or preventive action to assure or improve product quality or reliability. Assist in the implementation of corrective action on product and process failures.
Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies into production through use of Kaizen tools
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Ensure adherence to safety rules and good manufacturing procedures; Report any issues related to manufacturing performance, process and safety to the team lead in order to ensure safety, compliance with regulations and GMPs.
What You'll Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a specific technical discipline or product area.
Excellent communication skills: speak, read, write
Computer skills: Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Perform and influence in cross-functional team environments and utilize effective interpersonal skills
Prioritize and multi-task
Work with minimal supervision alone or in a group
Analyze and solve difficult technical problems
Actively resolve issues and participate in process improvement activities
Make quick, sound decisions
Welding experience is required. MIG experience preferred.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $52,000 - $74,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
