About the RoleThe MAP (Magna Assembly Piedmont) Logistics Clerk coordinates and controls shipping schedules for finished parts to meet customer requirements.
The Logistics Technician is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met.
Your ResponsibilitiesTasks may include but will not be limited to:
Daily interpretation of customer delivery requirements into shipping schedule utilizing Cumulative Sums (CUM’s). Monitoring ahead and behind schedule conditions and alert corresponding parties (production, customer). Adjust CUM’s as needed. Maintaining Yard Management System Controlling, tracking & maintaining shipping schedules according to customer requirements. Monitor shipping and receiving times. Update and report on delivery, inventory levels and dispatch requirements. Ensure carriers are compliance with company policies or procedures. Who we are looking for Atleast three months of related experience and/or training High School Diploma/GED Required Your preferred qualifications Experience with shipping and/or receiving Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
