About the Role

The MAP Supervisor sets the strategic direction of operations in the facility in accordance with the Sr. Management Team and the General Manager. The MAP Supervisor is responsible for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale on the designated shift. The MAP Supervisor works closely with Engineering, Quality, Press, Assembly, Logistics, and Human Resources Management to assure product control and safe/fair employee management is conducted at all times.

The MAP Supervisor is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met.

Your Responsibilities Coach and mentor employees on performance concerns and provide support and guidance in regard to coaching and/or corrective actions. Ensures all production key measurable targets are met or exceeded.  Anticipates quality problems in work areas and takes immediate action to correct, contain, communicate, and prevent quality issues.  Ensures all applicable quality policies and procedures are followed within the plant and direct accountability actions. Discusses safety in team meetings, completes safety inspections on a routine basis, and ensures compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures. Lead Tier meetings with all department leads on the shift to ensure all customer requirements are met and, as needed, escalate concerns to Department Managers Who we are looking for

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a combination of an equivalent Technical Degree/Certification and experience.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

5+ years of relevant experience in a Class-A automotive manufacturing environment required. 3+ years of relevant prior supervisory/management experience of assembly Class-A automotive experience preferred. Your preferred qualifications Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills is required. Must have an understanding of production, tooling equipment, automation, and technology as it relates to the automotive industry. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Pay range: $65,000 - $85,000 BOE
