As Marine Biologist, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sustainability department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. **1. Coral Surveys** + Assess coral reef health regularly using scientific protocols. + Identify and address threats such as bleaching, disease, and human impacts. + Expand and maintain coral restoration projects, including transplanting coral frames. **2. Marine Life Surveys** + Monitor and document fish populations, seagrass beds, and other key species. + Maintain accurate biodiversity data to evaluate ecosystem health. + Collaborate with external organizations on advanced research and conservation initiatives. **3. Guest and Host Engagement** + Organize snorkeling, guided eco-dives, and marine life workshops to educate guests and hosts. + Develop engaging educational materials, including presentations and brochures. + Lead innovative marine activities aligned with Six Senses’ crafted experiences philosophy. **4. Training for Sustainability and Experience Teams** + Provide training sessions on marine biodiversity and conservation techniques. + Equip team members with skills to support coral restoration and marine life surveys. + Enhance the teams’ capacity to educate guests about marine ecosystems. + Foster cross-departmental collaboration to strengthen SSNVB’s marine conservation initiatives.
