The starting pay for this role is $20-$25/hour, depending on experience, with additional opportunities for monthly productivity bonuses.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and assess the performance of marine engines and electrical systemsPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on outboard and inboard motorsRepair and maintain plumbing and intake systemsTroubleshoot engine and electrical issuesReplace worn or broken engine parts as neededService hydraulic and steering systemsConduct maintenance on electrical AC systemsComplete and maintain accurate service and repair documentation

Welding capabilitiesExcellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively within a team environment

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a marine mechanic or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of marine engine systems and electrical auxiliary componentsFamiliarity with hydraulic systems and related marine partsPhysical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spacesUnderstanding of boat steering systems
