Job Summary: The Marine New Construction and Design Account Manager is responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with clients to drive satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. They serve as the primary point of contact for their clients, understanding their needs, and proactively identifying opportunities to add value through additional products or services.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact. Work with shipyards or marine engineering groups to secure projects currently being bid or built at a shipyard. Work with naval architects, and marine engineering groups to secure potential future projects to offer options for end users to choose from with the goal of having Hiller speced into the future project. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients to drive revenue. Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve client objectives and maximize value for both client and the company. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on client needs and objectives. Monitor key account metrics and performance indicators to proactively identify areas for improvement. Work with Hiller Centralized Engineering to ensure product and industry knowledge growth to ensure future success and positive customer experience. Manager the contract renewal process, negotiating terms and pricing to ensure client retention. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to client. Other duties as assigned.
